Sometimes, the process of working with schools can be confusing. It can be emotional or scary to walk into a room of school professionals to ask for what your child needs. We will help parents to understand the importance of their role on the team and the need to build good relationships and form partnerships with teachers to support the child and each other in the process.
When you find your people, you just know it. You can breathe a little easier. It’s a sense of community or a bond with someone who just gets it and understands you, your child, or even your culture. We will provide opportunities for families to participate in social settings that are fully supported to facilitate inclusive interactions for all.
We will work with the businesses to establish a sensory toolbox to help children who have difficulty regulating their emotions or bodies, so they can successfully participate within the environment.
